RECYCLE   CONTAINERS 

Beginning Friday, May 8^th,  2020 the recycling committee is pleased to announce that the recycling   containers will be placed back in their usual locations.  The public is urged to comply with social distancing guidelines when visiting the sites, and good personal hygiene   afterwards to help prevent the spread of
Covid-19.  Residents are reminded that no garbage can   be placed in or around the containers, and to head the instructions displayed on the bins.

Considering the fact, the County Wide Clean-up Day had to be cancelled, residents can dispose of unwanted tires free of charge at the recycling center at 4395 M-32 W.  This will be done by first calling the   center at 989- 354-2607 and making an appointment.  Tires may be dropped off free of   charge.  A small fee is required if the rims are still attached.

We are working diligently to   try and facilitate a clean-up and electronic recycling day for residents   soon.  The recycling committee wishes   to thank Alpena County residents for their patience as we work through these   unprecedented times together.
