NEW Permit Application Requirements
As of January 1, 2020, ALL permit applications (including Building, Electrical, Fire, Mechanical and Plumbing) must have the following information submitted prior to issuance:
- Valid Driver's License or State ID
- Email address, phone number and mailing address
Additionally, if you are a contractor include:
- Original State Contractor License
- Certificate of Liability Insurance listing the Charter Township of Alpena
This information will only be required once per a year and may be submitted by dropping off, mailing or emailing the required information to the Building Safety Department at 4385 US 23 N, Alpena, MI 49707, email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
